For the seasons displayed below, however, I discovered theatres and productions after I'd published the data for that season. I have updated the data on the main page, and I am retaining the outdated data here. As always, feel free to contact me with questions.

Baltimore Theatre: 2015–2016 (old)
When I first published these data, in August 2016, I had counted 114 productions by the following 33 theatres and theatre companies.

- Approximately 75.5% were written by men, 23% were written by women, and 1.5% were written by dramatists whose gender is non-binary.
- Approximately 80.5% had white authors, 15% had African-American authors, 2% had Latinx or Hispanic authors, and 2.5% had Asian-American authors.
- Approximately 24% were written by people who reside in Baltimore city or county.

Of the 114 productions that I counted, three were directed by ensembles. Of the remaining 111 productions:
- Approximately 71% were directed by men, 27% were directed by women, and 2% were directed by people whose gender is non-binary.
- Approximately 79.25% had white directors, 18% had African-American directors, 2% had Latinx or Hispanic directors, 0.5% had Asian-American directors, and 0.25% had Native American directors.
- Approximately 76% were directed by people who reside in Baltimore city or county.

Of the 114 productions that I counted:
- Approximately 29% were world premieres.
- Approximately 6% were second or third productions of a show.
- Approximately 43% have had more than three productions and were written by living authors.
- Approximately 22% have had more than three productions and were written by dead authors, including 11 plays by Shakespeare (approximately 9.5% of the total).
